Co-organizer of the conference: "A Theatre of Justice: aspects of performance in Greco-Roman oratory and rhetoric", University College London 19-20 April 2012.
A performance-oriented approach is both promising and arguably inevitable for Greek and Roman oratory. Our conference, which is the first to focus exclusively on performance in oratory and rhetoric, aims at bringing together not only classicists, but also students from other fields of study such as law, theatre studies, and performance criticism in order to present their on-going research in this fertile area.
